We feel the underwater experience is best when shared and we have a great bunch of individuals who love scuba diving and want to share that enthusiasm through their dive profession.

The Store
Dive Picton is located on the Corner of Auckland Street and London Quay down by the waterfront in Picton. We are a short walk to the Picton I-site visitor centre, ferry terminal and the main wharf. We are open everyday (except Christmas day!) and are available for equipment sales and service, dive cylinder air filling and testing, dive training and regular diving trips.

We are a small but well stocked space with a wide range of equipment on hand. We are authorized agents for quality brands such as Suunto, Apeks, Aqualung, Scubapro and Beuchat. The team at Dive Picton is passionate about diving and are always keen to help you find what you need, give you some advice on where is good to dive or just have a yarn about how many crayfish you caught!
We have a heated indoor pool on site that is available for all levels of diver training, refresher courses and discover scuba experiences.

The Boat: "Ruku"
"RUKU" is the maori word for diver! How appropriate.
She is a 6.8 metre NAIAD inflatable built here in Picton and powered by a Honda 225 4 Stroke.
She is surveyed for up to 8 divers plus crew. She has all of the safety stuff required by Maritime New Zealand as well as an oxygen delivery unit, first aid kit plus a comprehensive spares kit.
She has all the navigational gadgets to find suitable diving spots and remember how to go back to them next time!
She’s a great boat to dive from, very stable and soft riding in the bigger seas!
